Description of activities carried out:
30/09/15

Initial discussions with Datini regarding toolkit have shown that both countries are at different stages regarding sport in school therefore following creation of the draft toolkit, we need to review and cover all aspects of school sport development from basic to advanced.

31/12/15

We worked with Datini to create the initial toolkit. Due to the differences between school sporting provision between Italy and Scotland, it was decided that we would offer a two stage toolkit; the first stage for locations where sporting provision needed some assistance and a second stage locations where provision was present but assistance was maybe required.

31/03/16

The second toolkit was created in association with our Datini partners.

Evaluation of the work undertaken:
30/09/15

Work has shown that Italy and Scotland are at different stages of integration of sport into school and education meaning a toolkit has to cover the basics and initial inspiration as required by Italy as well as provide advanced stages for progression for Scotland. This is likely to be similar for toolkits created by all partners.

31/12/15

The toolkit creation was an interesting part of the project for us due to the differences between school sport integration between the two countries. During the development process, it was decided to take a two pronged approach to ensure that countries with a lower school sporting provision were catered for and that countries with an existing strong provision also had elements within the toolkit that they could benefit from. We are pleased with the final toolkit in being as inclusive to all levels of current sporting provision as possible.

31/03/16

The second toolkit was developed in association with our partners in Datini and uploaded to the project portal. Within this toolkit we identified numerous online links to provide the target demographic with all the materials they could possibly require to implement and move towards the success targets.
