The festival took place in an all day long programme from 09:30 to 15:30. 10 schools attended the festival. More than 120 students competed in sports activities. 12 PE teachers and 10 other subject teachers guided students during the activities. There were about 100 students from closer schools and some parents came and supported the students attending the festival. There were also school 2 directors came to the sports hall to see their students attendance. The students also wore t-shirts with project logo. There were also banners, with the event name, logos of NOFP project and logo of the coordinator directorate, hanged on the walls of sports hall
There were more than 120 students attended the festival, they were from academic high schools, vocational high schools and religious high schools. The typology of the students were very interesting that all levels of high school students had a wonderful chance to share different ideas on sports activities.
Bilecik Sports festival was a volunteerly attended event that the idea was set during the teachers workshop organized in Bilecik Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi UZEM class on 29th September 2016.

There were primarily one toolkit was used by the PE teachers and other class teachers, it is “How to promote less popular sports” and orienteering, bocce, dart, skating, badmington are not the usual sports activities done in Bilecik schools so we used this toolkit to organise the event and saw that a huge group of students really interested in the sports and eager to attend the sports and also other subject teachers were amazed about those new sports. Some teachers also tried them all. Parents also liked the event so much.

The directors from two schools observed the event and could find chance to see the implementation of the toolkit “How to Promote Less Popular Sports” between teachers and they could see and try to find the implementation areas of the toolkit “How to promote the importance of sport at school” prepared for the use of the school directors.
