CASE STUDY

The Context:
My sport adventure began at the age of 6, when I started to play volleyball.
After four years, I decided to try athletics, because my brother did it.
So, when I was 10, I began to do athletics, and in 2014 I started juggling, that consists of the combination of art and sports.
My family have always encouraged and supported me, even because my father used to train in the same society, A.T.A (Acqui Terme Atletica).
I think sport helps to grow up and increases self-esteem, but unfortunately the guys of my age do not often practise sport.
Balancing Sport and Education:
I practise athletics two or three times a week for an hour, and I juggle for an hour and half on Friday.
I study, about one hour and half every day; more when there's a test the day after.
The most important athletics competitions I took part in are the Regional competition, where I ran the 1000m, and the International road race at Pettinengo, near Biella.
Last summer I went to the EJC (European Juggling Convention), one of the biggest juggling convention; there I met some of the most skillful jugglers.
It was a fantastic experience!
Even if I play a lot of sport, my marks are good and I think that sport can help me to concentrate and get good results at school
Future Perspectives:
I would like to continue playing sport. I don't know if I am going to university, but I think so
