Description of the initiatives:
The initiative was organized by Sébastien CAROFF and Arnaud CAMBRONNE (Sport and Math teachers).

The educative trips took place in Brem sur Mer (for the Year 12 students) and in Quiberon (for the seniors). Every year, a trip is organized for each level of the « Passion sport » class.
The seniors’ trip is self-financed thanks to a chocolate sale (sales revenue : 33 000 euros, 15% of which is given by the society to pay the trip). The initiative is quite educational and echoes the marketing class.

Main objectives of these trips :
- allow the pupils to discover and practise different out-door activities and therefore to meet the objectives and skills of sport such as « travelling while getting used to different and uncertain environments. During those trips, students practised the following activities : surfing, run and bike, rope activity, orienteering, sand yacht, giant paddle, sea kayaking.
- learn how to live together and increase a group cohesion through sport.
The students appreciate this kind of trip because many of them discover new sporting activities, especially water sports.

The discovery of a new environment, different from the school setting, and the out-door activities are a good way to develop many values such as solidarity, respect, group cohesion and the students learn to surpass themselves.
