Aims:
promotion of an ethical approach to sport
Description of the initiatives:
SNOW ON FIRE is one of the most representative snowboard slopestyle competitions hosted by the resort Harghita Madaras and coordinated Ridemore super-professional team. The existence of such competitions, whith international standards and high level of riding is extremely important because snowboarding continue to exist in Romania. Snow On Fire is at 4th edition, with the participation of international athletes. "There are very good people out, much better than us. But their presence can only increase the local level. If we do competitions between us and give each other awards we might die in a virtual reality sad" (Kinda Geza).
Within this competition the Organizers would like to offer the possibility of outdoor sporting in an organized way and they would also like to distract peoples attention from the every day stressful and sedentary life.
This is an annual event, in year 2015 were involved around 500 people
