CASE STUDY

The Context:
- The passion for the sport began as a child when I was 3-4 years old and my father used to take me into the pool. Since then I changed many sports until I got to the final one: rowing
-Many people supported me especially my father who is passionate about this sport and made me know it and still gives me many good advices.
-This Seems perhaps a solitary sport but it creates very deep ties with your fellow-competitor
- I think the school should offer more opportunities for the sport but unfortunately the economic resources do not allow it
-According to my opinion young people today are just encouraged to do sports and especially in our country the football world predominates over the other sports, in my opinion federations should advertise more their sports so that young people can get to know and passionate about them.
Balancing Sport and Education:
- - My trainings are very intense during most of the year. They last from 2 to 3 hours a day and I train about 8 times a week but during periods when there are no races they are less frequent.
- - Important successes have not been many, but my dream would be to do games with the national team, unfortunately until now I have limited myself to participate in regional and national competitions, and this year I hope to get noticed by National Coach .
- - My school performance in recent years has been very fluctuating, during times when I was more involved in sports my school results worsened and viceversa however I have never been rejected
- - Rowing has taken a long time away from study but I am happy because sport relaxes me when I'm anxious for a school test and helps me to optimize my available time
- - I believe that without sports my school results would be the same and would fill the hours with the most useless activities
- - I did not find special solutions
- As I said before the best suggestion is the organization of the day
Future Perspectives:
My dream would be to participate to the Olimpic Games but for now it is very far, and at the end of High School I am going to enroll in a faculty inherent in sport
