Description of the initiatives:
This event was proposed by the physical education’s teachers of the Liceo thirtyfive students of the age 16 -17 and attending either the second year of the human sciences course or the third year of the foreign languages course joined this initiative. After renting the bikes, the students covered a total distance of 48 km from San Lorenzo al Mare to Ospedaletti and the way back. They cycled on a cycling path that runs along the coast so they could enjoy a wonderful seascape. In addition to its physical and motor value, this experience was useful because the students were asked to respect the rules of roadsafety, especially when the track crossed cities such as Sanremo. Moreover, the developped a sort of team spirit in order to help the mates who were not used to cycling, encouraging them not to give up so that everybody managed to cycle the whole distance.
