Title of the initiative:Web site of the initiative:Date of the Event:Country:City:Sport:Aims:Description of the initiatives:Enjoy the picturesque landscape with fields of canola while running on the Wings for life World Run course in Bucharest. Starting from the national road DN3-DN3A, in the Pantelimon area, participants will run east towards Fetesti.
Participants taking part in the Romanian Wings for Life World Run will experience a friendly tarmac track with low level difference in a green and peaceful scenery at the outskirts of Bucharest.
Runners will take advantage of the gentle temperatures of about 20-25°C as a daily average in May for Romania and also of a daytime start.
This event is also open for wheelchair participants and its main aim is to raise funds for healing the injured spinal cord.
