The multisport event "Power Endurance Fair Play", held on 23 September 2016, has been planned by the PE teachers of the “Rita Levi-Montalcini” Institute and proposed to the other partner institutions involved in the project.

All the partners have been invited to the workshop on 16 March 2016 and suggested the devised activities of the event. The aims of the sports event could be summed up as follows:
  1. Take stock of the overall progress of the project related to the toolkits
  2. Meet both students and teachers of the other institutes involved in the project
  3. Improve the students’ sense of belonging to their Institute
  4. Arouse the interest in alternative forms of use of well-known sports
  5. Know how to play the roles of protagonist as an athlete and as referee
  6. Encourage the establishment and autonomous organization of team-groups

Description of the event:
Four high-schools participated in the National Sports Event: Liceo specializing in Science “ Amaldi” of Novi Ligure (AL); Technical Institute “Ferraris–Pancaldo” of Savona; Technical Institute “Barletti” of Ovada (AL) ; Technical Institute “Rita Levi- Montalcini” of Acqui Terme
  • Students involved in the sports activities: 8 teams composed of 20 students each, overall, 160 athletes participated in the event.
  • 17 Physical Education teachers cooperated: the 4 Physical Education teachers from the “Rita Levi- Montalcini” Institute were involved in the organization of the whole manifestation. The local and provincial authorities took part in the sports event: the Sports Department of Acqui Terme, the Provincial Coordinator of Physical Education Science of Alessandria; the President of the Rotary Club of Acqui Terme. Many athletes’ parents were present.
  • The sports activities have been organized as indicated in the form P3.G : beach volley, five-a-side football, cross marathon and swim marathon.
  • Teachers and school directors involved in the organization of the sports event: Claudio Bruzzone, School Director of the “Rita Levi-Montalcini” Institute, Ferraro, Lovisolo, Gatti, Pasetti (PE teachers); Alemanni (Italian Language and Literature teacher), documentation collection and public relations, Piana, Ferrando (Science teachers) and one of the students responsible for videos and photos of the event, teachers and student of the “Rita Levi-Montalcini” Institute.
  • The toolkit used to organize the event: student’s motivation; ethics in sport, sport and social inclusion; Sport and life-skills and coexistence between sport and school; and toolkit for school director: coexistence between sport and school; sport and curricular activities; sport and social inclusion and sport importance at school.
