Evaluation of the work undertaken:
30/09/15

Unfortunately the project started late and by the time of the project kick-off meeting, the schools in Scotland were deep into examinations prior to the summer break and therefore we were unable to liaise with them prior to Summer. Following the summer break we commenced meetings with the schools to get them onboard with the project - all schools we have spoken with so far have been extremely interested in joining the project however the paperwork and metric information has taken longer than we expected - however we hope to be able to bring even more school onboard as the project commences.

We have also identified and documented local, regional and national best practice initiatives that we feel are worth sharing with project partners and interested parties to help achieve project goals.

Even though we have been unable to get paperwork from the schools, we have started interviewing suitable students to create case studies and more interviews are scheduled for after the October holidays in the area. As we are reliant upon third parties (the schools) and there is only so much chasing of paperwork and signatures that we can carry out, our project critical path is currently out of our control.

31/12/15

We have continued to liaise and work with local schools to bring them onboard; one common message has been a concern about an increase to their already hectic workload which we have had to appease. Determining numbers for metrics has been difficult in some cases as determining accurate student numbers who will be involved is problematic, as has determination of parental involvement. We still have more schools we want to involve and due to a school merger happening at the end of this Academic Year, one of our previously onboard schools has had to drop out due to their lack of time.

All Case Study interviews with students have been completed and delivered to the Project Portal.

31/03/16

We have continued to introduce the project to local schools and potential associate partners, however we have been concentrating on associate partners who bring good numbers to the project and can influence large groups of students. As we are finding it difficult to get paperwork from these organisations, we are now looking at smaller groups and organisations.

30/06/16

We have brought on board some more associate partners with a wide reach to engage the project aims and outcomes with the widest possible audience.

30/09/16

We have continued to seek new associate partners for the project
