Partners' Institution:
OMNIA
Project's period (from/to):
01 January 2015 - 31 December 2016
Objectives of activities carried out:
Phase 3 "Testing of the Database and Toolkit" aims to involve teachers in the testing and exploitation of the Database and toolkit with their students and in a transnational peer to peer knowledge sharing experience.

Project partners will involve teachers in making use of the Database and Toolkit in order to plan, organise and manage pilot initiatives to promote the participation of students to sport and physical activities.

Each project partner will make use of the information and suggestions contained in the Database and/or the Toolkit to organise initiatives, activities, games etc. and evaluate their results.

The testing will be carried out in parallel in the different countries and a transnational discussion and knowledge sharing experience will be enhanced, through the use of ICT, allowing the teachers to compare their experiences and assess them according to a peer to peer approach.
Description of activities carried out:
The database has been introduced to many partners. As the toolkit is not yet ready, there has not been any testing activities related to it.
The toolkit has been introduced to other PE teachers in Omnia and one of the teachers, together with Petra and Kati has worked on the translations and dissemnation of the toolkit outcomes and online resources.

Situation 30.6.2016: A workshop has been organised where the database, toolkit and the overall approach have been presented to the participants. Common discussion took Place and the feedback was good.
The links to the database and toolkits have also been sent to national partners in Finland.
The dissemination and testing will continue in the autumn.

The dissemination has been carried out during the autumn 2016, especially in the occasion of two conferences held in Helsinki in November (see more information in the dissemination section).
Outcomes:
No outcomes at the moment. The testing of the toolkit will start from April on in Omnia's own teacher meetings and planning days as well as in the national networks with other schools and SAKU ry that belong in the NOFP partner networks.

Situation 30.6.2016: Feedback from the participants of the workshop (evaluation questionnaire) and a couple of comments on the comment form for the testimonials.
30.9.3016: A couple of testimonials received. Difficult to receive feedbacl from teachers or other stakeholders.

Interest has been shown towards the materials by many target groups and stakeholders.
Evaluation of the work undertaken:
There is a huge amount of materials in the toolkits, database and in the portal in general. It is not impossible to intorduce everything thoroughly and study the materials together at the workshop. However, the audience and national partners have been very interested in the materials and additional links and have confirmed that they will use them later as part of their work.

The Project website offers a great number of materials and it may be difficult to findthe right materials if the person has not been involved in the creation. However, the materials are of an important value for many stakeholders.
