Description of the conference:
The aim of the conference was to review and develop a Physical Education, Sport & Physical Activity strategy for the region. The focus was on increasing participation, building capacities through partnerships and developing a framework for excellence for Physical Education, Sport & Physical Activity.

The participants represented staff from the education sectors (School, College and University), public sector (Sports & Physical Activity related – including National Health Service), trusts, sports & fitness national governing bodies and national agency for sport
