“F.Datini” Secondary School -Prato
C.E.I.S. - Solidarity Center Onlus - Florence
C.O.N.I.Tuscan Regional Olympic Committee
Laboratory of Sport Management University of Florence – Florence
The Tuscan Regional Committee decided to launch this project carrying out a parallel action on the role of the sport manager on the one hand, and the needs and expectations of young people on the other. For this reason, students of the "F. Datini" Institute in Prato were involved ( above all ages between 15-18)
The aim of the project is to limit young people's discomfort and sport leaving, and, at the same time, to start – through the project – an educational chain involving other educational processes of young people's growth, so that young players may continue their sport experiences, taking on, later, even other positions in the sport field, such as executive or coach, with a view to the community which, through sport, grows and brings other young people up.
This project can be considered an example of best practice for the involvement of persons operating in different fields and bringing in the school issues of formation of the individual, the citizen. In addition, the training program is through the contribution each can make based on their own experience. The training also sees as its objective the relapse on the students as the main actors of any educational process
