"Sports Culture and Olympic Education Project" presentations are vital in terms of helping young generations acquire a sports culture early in life. The project is aimed at students in the fourth and fifth grades in elementary schools and is carried out by the Culture and Olympic Education Committee of the National Olympic Committee of Turkey with support from the Ministry of National Education.
The project is the culmination of meticulous work undertaken by academicians, child psychologists and committee members. Professional presenter and cherished mascot "Oli" interactively explains sports culture and Olympic Games as well as its philosophy, Fair Play, healthy eating habits and environmental awareness through various videos, cartoons, small competitions and colorful images.

It is of great importance to raise a young generation that has an appreciation of the Olympic spirit and sports culture as Turkey gears up to host the Olympic Games. The program is performed to accomplish this objective and draws a lot of interest and admiration from the participating students and teachers as well as from countless governors, mayors, directors of national education, and administrators. The International Olympics Committee provides support to this one of a kind project with a budget allocated each year.
