CASE STUDY

The Context:
My passion for sports started when my parents wanted me to have some hobby. I got enthusiasted for floorball during mys first school years at the physical education lessons. My family, relatives and friends have always supported me, which gives me more motivation. My mother is the leader of our floorball team, my father comes to watch our games very often and my big brother once in a while. Many of my relatives also come to watch the games. My team is very important for me and belonging to it is an honour. I don't know if sport has had an impact on understanding the others better, but at least it is easier for me to get along with different people.
I have not yet had any physical education lesson in Omnia, but generally I have always liked sports, no matter if it takes place in free time or at school.
I guess that children are encouraged to move in every country.
Balancing Sport and Education:
I have practices (from two to two hours and fifteen minutes) four times a week and on weekends we have games.
The amount of hours that I spend on studies depends on the amount of homework.
About the successes I have achieved till now: I played girls' C-league in 2014-2015 and we scored on the 7th place. In 2013-2014 I played girls' B-league and we scored on the 2nd place. This season (2015-2016) I am playing the girls' B league on a national level, A league in the first division and also womens' National Cup.
I have managed well in my studies. I have a good attitude and I am not absent from school without a reason. If I did not play floorball, I think that school would be a big challenge for me. Sports mean everything for me in life. I have been activie and moving around since my childhood, so it is difficult to think of life without sports.
I don't think that mys school performances would have been better without the sport activity.
I have not had very much time to spend with my friends, because I do not have much free time. However, it has not meant problems for me, because my friends support me so well.
My everyday sport activity has not disturbed my studies.
Future Perspectives:
I want to continue playing floorball also in the future. My goal is to end up to the national team, womes' league and perhaps also to play floorball abroad. I have no idea about future plans for studies.
